Your homepage is not a good landing page and the result is large abandon rates!
After working with hundreds of clients a common misconception is NOT needing a landing page.
Many think if you’re advertising or emailing or chatting an offer on social media about service, your direct response ad, email, etc should go directly to your home page. However, website landing pages focusing on that particular service; if you’re advertising a special deal or promo, your ad or email should go directly to a landing page explaining how customers can learn more and take advantage of your offer.
You simply can’t expect potential customers or clients to find what they need, when directing them to your home page! People are busy, impatient, and they don’t want to do the work. Hold their hands and guide them to the actions you want them to take.
