Doing Well by Doing Good!

People love to give back. They like knowing that their purchases help further their favorite causes, so partnering with a nonprofit or not-for-profit organization serves as a viable marketing strategy. You’re using your business to help customers give back to their communities.

A Good Campaign Includes Specific Goals

To create an effective cause marketing campaign, you need to establish a clear-cut beginning and ending to the campaign. It is important to let the public know what the cause is, then give them a time frame during which your company will build support for the cause.

For example, a canned food drive for the local food pantry should have a well-publicized kick-off, regular progress updates, then a certain date by which to reach the goal. Schedule special events during the campaign to receive powerful and free positive advertising from local news organizations and community publications.
