Along with the rest of the world business people need to communicate effectively.

If you are a small or large organization who truly care about their employees and their customers your communications are critical at this time. Since businesses in many area are closed, if you had a scheduled appointment or meeting it would be best to send a personalized message communicating a leadership role during these difficult times. Start every communication with empathy. A simple opening statements like

“Intro with a personal greeting then... approach something like, As you know we will not be meeting during the current Covid-19 outbreak. This situation has been very stressful and challenging, and we appreciate the importance of maintaining their loved ones health and safety” .

This helps diffuse anxiety and get people ready to listen to the facts that come next.
